Heyburn Idaho Real Estate

Considerations for Buying a Home for Sale In Heyburn, Idaho

Homes for sale in Heyburn, Idaho offer buyers some unique benfits that you’d be hard pressed to repliate in many other Idaho towns. When I first moved to Heyburn, being born & raised in Burley made me initially skeptical about crossing over to the other side of the river onto Minidoka territory to buy home in Heyburn. However, I was quickly & positively surprized as to just how nice it actually is to live in Heyburn. Between nearby convieniences of stores for groceries & hardware, dining options and of course a variety of outdoor oportunities so close, I quickly became satisfied that we’d made a great decision.

For some people seeking a home in Heyburn, it’s all about the proximity of the river. There’s about the same amount Heyburn real estate as there is Burley real estate running along the Snake River but the one advantage to a home on or near the Heyburn side of the Snake is that these homes offer the view of Mt. Harrison in addition to the river. Even though my own home isn’t directly on the river, I still enjoy the view of Mt. Harrison from my front yard. Much of the realty in Heyburn also offers this fantastic view and is just another consideration for homebuyers seeking one of the many great opportunities of Heyburn real estate.

When the Depression hit, many banks and businesses closed up and moved away, but the town held on and refused to die.
